The staff was really helpful and the atmosphere was nice. The common areas were good and they offered cheap dinner and drinks. The breakfast was good, although I wish they had ham and cheese. The accommodation felt safe and the price was alright. The bed was comfy and the people were great. The place was lovely and cozy, with hammocks everywhere and swimming pools in the two buildings. The staff and guests were open-minded and friendly. You can easily meet people from everywhere. They also organized transfers, boat tours, and concerts in the evenings. The rooms are equipped with electronic cards, which added to the safety.
Would recommend this hotel.

The breakfast spread was delicious and had a variety of options to choose from. The air conditioning in the rooms was a blessing, especially during the hot weather. The location of the hostel was fantastic as it was an easy walk to the bus station. I also enjoyed the beautiful garden and the opportunity to relax in the hammocks.
One negative aspect was that the shared female room had a strong smell of sewage from the bathroom drain, which made it uncomfortable to be in or even sleep in the room. Another downside was that some activities could only be paid in cash, while others could be paid with a card.

The atmosphere was really nice and I loved the location. The staff was friendly and they organized fun activities like pizza night and Brazilian night. The breakfast was delicious and there were plenty of options to choose from. The common areas like the terrace and swimming pool were cool and a great place to socialize with other travelers. The hostel also offered touristic activities and tours, which was a bonus. I had a fantastic time at Che Lagarto.
There was only one bathroom in the dorm for 10 people, which could be a bit inconvenient at times. Additionally, the rooms were quite empty with minimal furniture, making it difficult to keep things organized.

They also assist with arranging transportation and create a social atmosphere. With some room upgrades and additional bathrooms, it has the potential to be an amazing place.
Felt very secure, no complaints.

The rooms were spacious and clean, with our own bathroom. The hostel had a great atmosphere, especially during the dinner nights with local live music. The prices were reasonable, and the food was delicious. The breakfast buffet was by far the best I had during my trip to Brazil.
Totally recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was really awesome! They had a wide variety of options to choose from, and everything was delicious. Additionally, the location of the hotel was perfect. It was situated close to all the major attractions and within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. This made it very convenient to explore the city. Another advantage I enjoyed was the chill area. It was a nice place to relax and unwind after a long day of sightseeing.
One of the negative aspects of my stay was the lack of information provided by some of the staff. There were a few occasions where I wanted to know more about the local area or nearby attractions, but the staff seemed more interested in selling their tours rather than helping me with my inquiries.
